1335:0 República Serbian: Serbia in the heart of Bosnia-Herzegovina

Written by Brigitte Vasallo. Posted in 1335: the siege of Sarajevo, Balkans, Places, Different materials

We went into Bosnia-Herzegovina on the border of Slavonski Brod, from the northeast of Croatia. Unlike last year, when we entered the country through the road leading to Bihac, in the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina, This time we get fully into the República Serbian, the Serbian part of Republic of Bosnia Herzegovina. Let's cross from north to south to Sarajevo, enrollment in a car driven by a Croatian Spanish.

On the border, gives police the high and leads us apart, probably more for the foreign-registered by the Croatian passport. In any case, We overhauled, ask us all the papers and finally decide that our car does not have international circulation permit, which never ceases to amaze: have crossed borders a dozen, not all EU- with the same car and same documentation, and no one had thrown anything at fault so far. Not even had difficulty last year, in the other border of the same country. After half hour of trading, police confirm what we had guessed: offering a small donation to our documentation will be viewed more favorably.

So, with 20 euros less anger and more, we follow the route.
